I recently found myself in a bit of a pickle at Airport Garden Rooms. After a long day shivering in the elements while snapping photos around Ireland, I just wanted a cozy and warm space to drop my bags. Unfortunately, arriving to find a stranger snuggled in my bed was not what I had in mind! They seemed to have bypassed their supposed key lock system and made themselves right at home, which was a rather overwhelming surprise. But I must admit, my enthusiasm for the place had already been extinguished. The property looked like a semi-detached house on a bustling street-not the charming retreat I prefer when exploring new destinations. And with a shared kitchen but no one around to greet me, the vibe felt more chaotic than comforting. Despite the convenience of being near Heathrow, I would definitely recommend seeking out a more reliable option. Cozy cottages scattered around the Irish countryside or charming guesthouses in Iceland would be far more appealing as a base for my photography adventures! I really think my travel companions and I deserve a little more coziness for our money.
